When you want to get across something, there's no better way than to build a bridge and that's what you'll be doing in Bridge Builders. The thing is that you're not building bridges for the greater good, you're building them to get ahead in a very particular competition. You're trying to be the best bridge-builder out there which you can prove with speed, building, and gathering. However, only one builder can claim the title by building the one true bridge up to the pedestal of destiny. In this contest, you can never go a bridge too far.
About Bridge Builders
So many games base their mechanics around building things so it was only a matter of time before bridges got their time in the spotlight. In this game, bridges are the stars of the show since without them, you can't hope to win. Luckily, the act of building a bridge here is far faster and smoother than in real life. You can still make just as many mistakes though, mainly those that involve falling and dropping everything that you've worked toward. You need to build swiftly and carefully to bridge the gap between defeat and victory. Build long, build hard, but most importantly, build across.
How to Play
Bridge Builders is a 3D competitive game about running around and building bridges to the finish line using the keyboard.
Controls
- W/Up Arrow - Move Up
- S/Down Arrow - Move Down
- A/Left Arrow - Move Left
- D/Right Arrow - Move Right
The goal is to be the first builder to reach the pedestal at the end of the course. You'll have endless time and resources to do what you need to do. The game only ends when either you leave it or one of the builders reaches the final area. Upon finishing the contest, you'll earn coins for your efforts.
Before the game begins, you can choose to give your builder various accessories to help them stand out. This could be a fancy hat or some refined glasses, but all new accessories will cost coins that you need to earn. When you start playing, you'll spawn on one side of the area while your opponent will spawn on the opposite side. You'll need to run across the narrow pathways to collect bridge materials matching your color. When you feel that you have enough, you can head to the empty bridge framework and start laying down your bridge parts to get to the next area.
There will be glowing circles that will add or subtract materials that you're carrying if you run into them. You'll need to keep building bridges in the framework until you reach the final platform and win the game.
Tips and Tricks
A good way to go about this is to focus on collecting quickly and efficiently. You can carry a seemingly huge amount of materials which can spill over into the next area. The more you take with you, the more you'll have leftover for the next bridge.
