Running is essential to many games where you'll be running to get around quickly, explore, escape, and race as in Death Run. Despite the name, the game is surprisingly upbeat taking place across numerous colorful obstacle courses. You're one of several racers wearing colorful outfits who are all there to prove that they're the best at running to the end of a dangerous obstacle course. The traps may look dangerous, but none of them will kill you probably. This means that you can pour all of your efforts into beating your competitors to be the first one to the end and claim a vague prize.

Endless Runner games have quite a hold on the casual and mobile gaming market, but there's room for running games where you control the running. This is one of those games and makes it a slower-paced experience. This is ironic considering that this game is about running but it is also about timing considering the shape of the courses and the mechanics of the traps. You've also got competitors to worry about adding some pressure to the experience. Still, there's excitement brewing the more you play with each victory feeling sweet and each setback feeling like a crushing blow. Run fast and smart!
How to Play
Death Run is a 3D racing game about running a course using only the mouse. By clicking and holding the Left Mouse Button, your runner will start to run and will immediately stop when you let go. If you approach a gap, the runner will automatically jump over it. You'll be represented by the runner in the middle and the race will start when you start running. The goal is to reach the end of each course first.
Throughout each course are a variety of obstacles and traps. They range from swinging blades to giant hammers and even arrow traps. They all have their own timing in order to get past them safely. When you are hit by a hazard, the runner will be knocked down and stunned temporarily until they get back up. Once they do, they can start running again. The other racers are also vulnerable to the traps, but there's no way to interact with them. Each racer will always stay in their own lane.
If you lose the race, you'll need to retry it. If you win, you can move on to the next race.
Tips and Tricks
Timing is very important here since certain traps are designed to hit you multiple times if you get caught in a bad spot. The worst traps are the wide spinners that cover a huge part of the course. The best way to avoid them is to stop at the very edge of their reach and then start running the moment it passes by.
