Though the objective of the game can change depending on the mode, they all share the general idea of taking out opposing players. Matches can be timed and have multiple rounds with the team or the individual with the highest score winning the whole thing.
When you start, you'll spawn in a random location on the map. Your character will have all of their associated weapons already on hand. If you want a different loadout, you'll need to select a different character in the lobby. While running around the map, you can keep an eye on the timer and the score at the top of the screen while your health is located at the bottom. When killed, you will take a few seconds to respawn
You can earn EXP and coins by playing and completing tasks. When you earn enough EXP, you'll rank up which will yield rewards and new game features. You can use coins to unlock new characters, each with their own weapons and stats. They can also be spent to open up crates which will gift you with random rewards. You're free to jump into a random match, join a specific room, or create your own room.
Lastly, this game uses a battle pass system. By creating an account and signing up for the pass, you can earn higher-quality rewards as you play. There's also a daily login bonus and tasks will change periodically.
Tips and Tricks
As with other competitive FPS games, the key to victory is to react quickly and accurately. Avoid running through open ground unless necessary while spying on good vantage points. Always move with the intent to have some sort of cover available while also trying to flank individual enemies or entire teams.
Desire - FPS Online Game Modes
This game currently has four modes to try out:
- Team Deathmatch - Work with teammates to gather points by killing members of the opposing team.
- Deathmatch - Every player for themself, earn points by racking up kills.
- Confrontation - Seek out the enemy flag and possess it to earn points while protecting your own team's flag.
- Elimination - Work with your team to eliminate the enemy team over several rounds with the most wins claiming victory.

There are currently four maps to play across:
- Military Base - A small base scattered throughout cliffs and deserts.
- Island - A lush piece of land full of nature and open ground.
- Nuclear Plant A nighttime area with lots of structures and narrow roads.
- Polygon - An abandoned airfield full of a variety of structures and ruins.
