Food is delicious but we need to appreciate it so that we don't consume in excess, but pets and other animals will compete to eat anything that looks edible like Funny Food Duel. In a house that plays host to all sorts of pets in the dog and cat categories, there's always something on the menu. They're not just left with pet food but rather the food that the humans make for themselves and serve on a lovely silver platter. However, that platter isn't big enough for two animals and only one can be the first to have it all.
About Funny Food Duel
Animals are pure, beautiful, and adorable, they deserve all the things even when we make delicious food for ourselves. This is a game about pets being served some quality human food that hopefully was prepared well and with ingredients that won't cause any harm. It's a cute take on the versus game and presents a conflict based on speed. It's all about who can eat the food the fastest. The problem is that not all the food is in the best shape and you don't want to be too eager to eat something off only to miss the more delicious stuff down the line.
How to Play
Funny Food Duel is a 2D versus game about pets trying to eat the food first using just the keyboard. If you're playing against the computer, you simply need to press A to eat the food. For a second player to play locally, they need to press the Left Arrow Key to eat the food. The goal is to be the first one to fill up your prospective food meter first as shown at the top of the screen above your pet. Each match has a time limit and if there's no winner before it ends, the one who's eaten the most will win by default.
In terms of a versus game, the mechanics are extremely simple. Each player only has one button that they need to press. The food will spawn in the middle of a silver dish once the lid is lifted. If buttons are pressed when there's no food, then nothing will happen. There are also dangerous types of food that can cause problems. Frozen food will temporarily freeze the pet that eats eat while rotten food will cause them to get sick. There's no way for the pets to interact with each other, it's all about whoever's first to jump onto the table.
Tips and Tricks
This game is sort of similar to the quick-draw duels of the old West. It's all about who is quickest on the button press to get the food first. All food glows with an aura, but make sure that enough of it is revealed before you leap to eat it.
