When you go home, you hope not to have to deal with any life-threatening problems but unfortunately, this can't be escaped in the world of Home Pin 1. A couple has saved up and bought a nice little home in the suburbs. It's so nice that it has become a magnet for all dangers and issues. The husband seems to have a very strong case of showing up always at the right time for the worst situations. He's able to get into the house and try to resolve things before they get any worse, but that's why you've got to lend a hand.

Home should be a place to relax but it's also where a majority of accidents occur since that's where most people spend their time. This game is like a catalog of the absolute worst things that can happen in your home but they've been constructed as neat little puzzles. It makes you wish that it was that easy to solve household problems, but you still need your head to do it. It's a good feeling to be able to fix house issues by yourself though the risk is that you might end up making it worse and that's what this game is sort of trying to say.
How to Play
Home Pin 1 is a 2D puzzle game about saving your loved ones and your home from the problems that arise by using your mouse. To interact with pins, you can move the cursor to their rings, click and hold the Left Mouse Button, and then drag to move it. For things like ropes, you can swipe by holding the Left Mouse Button and then dragging the cursor across the screen. The goal is to help the husband complete the associated task by creating a safe path for him.
Each level starts the husband in a random part of the house, either on the ground or supported by pins. The house will be broken into sections by various pins inserted at different angles. The pins act as barriers that block and support elements around the house. You need to move the pins so that the husband can reach his objective. These take one of several forms: Save your wife, collect your valuables, or deal with intruders. There are also other elements like water and lava. Water is harmless but lava will harm anyone who touches it and destroys valuables, combined they become a pile of rocks. To deal with intruders, the husband will need to get his hands on a bat. If the husband or wife is harmed or the valuables are destroyed, you'll need to restart the level. Later levels will introduce other types of intruders, objects like boulders, and even traps like mounted crossbows.
Completing levels will earn you gold and egg points. Gold can be spent on the main menu screen to build your home and buy new outfits for the husband and wife. Egg points can be spent to hatch eggs when you collect enough of the same.
Tips and Tricks
You have a full view of the house and all the pins which allows you to carefully pick your moves. Be especially cautious when lava is in play since it has a more fluid movement and reacts to physics differently. Also, note that objects dropped from a height can injure those below.
