Commandos already sound pretty cool because of their title which makes you wonder what you need to do to get it and maybe IGI Commando Mission: Cover the Fire provides some clues. This is where you need to step up to the call of duty to be sent in many environments to accomplish a series of missions as the skilled commando that you've trained to be. Unfortunately, you'll still be dealing with a large number of hostile forces so you'll need to act more cautiously and with better judgment so that you can complete your mission and attempt to make it back to base in one piece.

There are plenty of stories where commandos are doing what they can to fight on and save the day using whatever means possible. This game has you playing as a commando that will do a lot of things by the book. You're there to complete a mission which can have more than one part to it and will need some finesse instead of just shooting everything in the way and hoping that one of the things needed to be shot at. Since you're alone, you need to use strategy and movement so that you can survive long enough to succeed.
How to Play
IGI Commando Mission: Cover the Fire is a 3D first-person shooter about being a commando using the mouse and keyboard.

The goal of each mission is to complete all of the objectives. Your health will be displayed at the top of the screen while the map will be in the top left corner. When you encounter items or points of interest, you'll be able to interact with them, although some will take more time than others. If your health hits zero, the missions will fail and you'll need to try again.
Before you start the mission, you can choose to go to the store to get a specific loadout. When you decide to play, you'll get a choice of primary weapon with new ones costing money that you earn in the game. After that, you can choose which mission you want to play, and then jump right in. At the start, you'll spawn in a closed area and a prompt will appear showing you all of the objectives that you need to complete in order. As you complete them, they'll be ticked off and you'll be alerted.
While exploring, you will run into hostile enemies patrolling or at vantage points. You can fire back to eliminate them, run, or take cover in the environment. The more missions you complete, the more you can undertake and the more money you'll earn.
Tips and Tricks
This is a shooter where you have the freedom to run and move as you see first but that also means you need to be precise. Taking cover is very important and you need to make sure that you're well behind it otherwise you will take damage. If you find yourself taking fire from two sides, retreat, reduce visibility, and eliminate them one at a time.
