Every person should work in customer service or retail at least once in their lives to understand the daily struggles that such workers go through with Raccoon Retail taking it to the extremes. While raccoons are known as trash pandas, that doesn't mean they couldn't benefit from fresh food, packaged, and neatly organized. You're a raccoon that has taken a job in a grocery store for raccoons and your job is to keep it looking clean. Even though raccoons now have their store, it's hard for them to fight their messy tendencies which is why your job is so necessary.
About Raccoon Retail
Working in a shop can be one of the most stressful careers out there since you never know what you can expect from customers. This game has you dealing with raccoons as customers and you'll soon start wondering whether they really are messier than humans. There's not much challenge to cleaning things up but you'll never be idle since customers are always handling the different products. With all the spills that happen, you may think that the raccoons are deliberately trying to make a mess. This means you'll always have something to do and at the very least it means that your job will never be obsolete.
How to Play
Raccoon Retail is a 3D game about cleaning up a store filled with raccoons by using the keyboard.
Controls
- Up Arrow - Move Forward
- Left Arrow - Turn Left
- Right Arrow - Turn Right
- Down Arrow - Reverse
Your raccoon is driving a cleaning machine that will automatically clean any food products it comes into contact. Your goal is to patrol the store cleaning up everything that the customers drop and then taking out the trash. The money you earn can then be put towards upgrades in the top right corner to improve speed, capacity, and the amount of money you earn.
You'll start in the center of the store with several food stands on the floor and customers wandering around. Customers will walk to different foods and drop them on the floor after sifting through them. You need to be vigilant and try to clean up spills as quickly as they happen. If you accidentally run into a customer or the food stands, you'll be charged for the damage caused. Your trash capacity is shown in the top left corner of the screen. When it's full, it will flash red and you'll need to drive to the dumpster in the corner of the store to empty it and earn money.
As you buy more upgrades, the store will expand to have more food stands and shelves. This leads to more aisles and more messes from customers.
Tips and Tricks
This is a game where you need to constantly keep moving since messes are happening all the time. Just remember to give yourself plenty of space to turn and move in so that you can avoid crashing. Upgrades that increase your earnings should take priority.
