Being a sniper is a very stressful position in any type of military organization since you are required to be very focused and have very sharp accuracy like in Sniper King 2D The Dark City. Okay, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, since this is a less intense depiction of being a sniper. Still, it focuses on the idea of aiming, taking specific shots, and not shooting anything or anyone that you don't need to shoot. You only have so many chances and that's why you need to make every shot count because all it takes is one miss to put you at risk.

Sniper games are all similar in a way that emphasizes the idea of camping, aiming, and shooting. In this game, you only need to worry about the second two. You're already in the best vantage point for the mission, so it just comes down to your skill. You have a chance for multiple shots, but can't make that many mistakes before your clip runs dry. Of course, this is the first challenge of a sniper: Shot conservation. The more shots that you take, the bigger the risk that you run of placing more enemies on alert and eventually finding your location.
How to Play
Sniper King 2D The Dark City is a 2D first-person game about being a sniper on a series of clandestine missions using only the mouse. To take control of the scope, click on it with the Left Mouse Button. You can move the crosshair around the scene to examine the surroundings and possible targets. To take a shot, click the Left Mouse Button. The number of shots that you have left is shown in the top left corner. The goal of each mission is to complete it before you run out of ammo.
When you start, you'll be placed in the ideal vantage point and go immediately into aiming mode. The objective of the mission will appear before you start aiming with various requirements. Sometimes you'll be required to take out all targets and other times you'll need to take out a very specific target. Other times you'll need to take shots that affect the environment or have a condition where you can't take too many shots. Once you complete the mission, you'll be able to move on to the next one. The fewer shots that you take, the higher the score you'll earn.
Tips and Tricks
This is a situation where you have to scan the area carefully. Most targets can be taken out with a shot to any part of the body, so avoid risking a headshot which gives you a smaller target. Watch the crosshair light up to identify targets that may be hidden behind certain obstacles.
