Tanks are impressive vehicles with a lot of firepowers which is what makes them so popular in video games like War of Tanks 3D. As the title implies, you are participating in a war that seems to be entirely taking place between tanks. As one side of the conflict, you and your fellow tanks must roll forward onto the field of battle to confront the enemy with all the power and accuracy you can muster. Though your tank will provide some protection against enemy fire, it's not invincible which is why it has to be mobile. Do your best to bring the war to an end.
About War of Tanks
There are many tank battle games out there and War of Tanks 3D is a good introduction to them. As soon as you start, you get a quick readout of the controls and then you're off. There's a nice grace period from when you start to when you actually encounter the enemy to get a feel for the gameplay. You can also fire off some practice shots if you wish and scope out the terrain to plan your route. It's also a very fast game with no lag time between attempts especially since it can end quite quickly.
How to Play
The game is essentially a death match between tanks. You start on the side among allies, with your enemies on the opposing side. Your tank is simple but sturdy and offers options in terms of attacking and maneuvering. The gameplay is restricted to the keyboard and mouse.

- Arrow Keys/Mouse Cursor - Aim Gun
- Spacebar/Left Mouse Button - Fire Weapon
- E/Right Mouse Button - Scope Aim

Your tank has two weapons: A main cannon and secondary cannon. The first shoots a large, powerful shell a long distance and needs to reload in between each shot. The second shoots smaller, faster shells and needs to reload after every 10 shots. Your health and ammo are displayed in the top right corner while the number of enemies you've destroyed are in the top left. The game ends when either the enemy forces are defeated or your tank is destroyed with the goal being the former.
Tips and Tricks
The main cannon is strong, able to take out a tank with two direct shots, but it's very slow to reload and inaccurate. Take some time to practice shooting it since it has a considerable dropoff in the air. Also, use the trees on the battlefield to your advantage to block enemy fire.
